Our Story

Sinq Foods was born from a desire to share the heart of our home — Ethiopia — through food that nourishes both body and soul. Our recipes are crafted with love, vibrant spices, and the bold flavours of our culture.

But Sinq Foods is more than just a restaurant. It's a space where health, heritage, and hospitality come together. We invite Melbourne to experience the richness of Ethiopian cuisine — real, nourishing, and unforgettable.

Nourish Boldly. That’s our promise.

Our Food

At Sinq Foods, we believe food should be both delicious and nourishing. We use fresh, wholesome ingredients — including locally sourced teff and authentic Ethiopian spices — to create meals that energize and satisfy.

From hearty meat stews to flavourful vegan dishes, our menu celebrates choice and inclusivity. Whether you're gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, or simply hungry, we have something made with you in mind.

This is Ethiopian food reimagined for modern, health-conscious living.

Our Culture

In Ethiopia, mealtime is all about sharing and connecting with people. We want you to feel that same sense of togetherness at Sinq Foods. Come with your friends and family and enjoy our delicious food and friendly atmosphere.

You can even experience a real Ethiopian coffee ceremony! We roast, grind, and brew the coffee right in front of you using a special clay pot. It's a fun way to learn about Ethiopian culture and enjoy delicious coffee.

We also have other cultural events throughout the year, like cooking classes and music performances. Check out our Events page to see what's happening.
